  3. Analyse your client’s objectives, needs, financial situation and risk profile
  4. Develop appropriate strategies and solutions to meet these objectives, needs, financial situation and risk profile

  6. Negotiate financial transactions with your securities clients

  9. Provide ongoing service to your clients when required by the client

How Skills Assessment Works

Step 1: You identify the Specialist Knowledge Competency area in which you wish to have your Skills assessed.

Step 2: Financial Education Professionals supplies you with a Skills Exercise. You work through this exercise in your own time. Complete it in bullet-point format. Do not complete it in essay form. The Skills Exercise will be used by you in the next step to demonstrate your skills.

Step 3: You can demonstrate your skills to our of Financial Education Professional’s Approved Assessors in one of two ways:

(Please note: The Knowledge Competency area in which you demonstrate your skills merely provides the context for your skills. The focus of the Skills Assessment is on demonstrating to our Approved Assessor your competency in the nine (9) skills listed above.)

Step 4: If you successfully demonstrate the above nine (9) skills to our Approved Assessor you will have completed this specific requirement for RG 146.
