This 2-day workshop comprehensively covers custody in the financial services industry. It teaches how the custodian operates and gives an insight to the custodian’s workflow, processes and controls.
It constitutes half of the FNS41115 Certificate IV in Financial Markets Operations, which comprises two compulsory subjects, Introduction to Financial Markets and Introduction to Custody. This workshop can be attended by those who do not wish to undertake the qualification and assessments.

- Custody in the Financial Services Industry
- Custodians and their clients
- What Custodians do
- Funds and fund structures
- Role of custodians in investment transactions
- Risk management and regulation
The course is delivered as an interactive workshop with practical exercises to reinforce learning.
The assessment comprises:
- a closed book, 50 multiple choice question exam which you complete online and;
- a research assignment
