RG 146 Generic Knowledge provides you with knowledge of the environment in which you will operate in the financial services industry, no matter what the specialised area in which you are working. On completion of Generic Knowledge, participants should then complete the specialist knowledge areas they require for RG146 compliance.

Topic 2: Operation of financial markets and the economy
Topic 3: Financial markets and products
Topic 4: Relevant legal principles and compliance
This subject is listed on the ASIC Training Register and meets RG 146 requirements.

We estimate you will need approximately 20 hours study time to complete each subject. Each earning 20 hours/points.
Each course is offered by self study via our learning portal, FEP Online. It provides you with online learning resources, support and assessment.
You have 8 weeks from your enrolment date in which to complete each course.
For each course, there is one (1) open-book knowledge examination comprising of forty (40) multiple choice questions. You are given two (2) attempts with a required 80% pass mark. A practice assessment is available to you.
On completion of Generic Knowledge, participants should then complete the specialist knowledge areas which they require for RG146 compliance.
