FASEA Professionalism & Ethics CPD

Firms are coming under fire from regulators for seemingly putting their own interests first to the detriment of customers and the wider public. It is more important than ever to understand and examine the interplay between corporate culture, ethics and conduct in your organisation.

FEP has crafted a Professionalism & Ethics CPD program exclusively for advisers supervised by FASEA.

The program comprises one core topic and 3 case studies.

The core topic, Managing ethical dilemmas in financial services, provides foundation knowledge on ethical frameworks and ethical decision making. Once successfully completed you can test your knowledge by applying it to 3 real dilemmas faced by advisers.

Program topics

  • Core: Managing ethical dilemmas in financial services
  • Case study 1:  Appropriate financial advice
  • Case study 2: Best interest and conflicted remuneration
  • Case study 3: Limited scope advice in insurance

Each case study is delivered in an interactive lesson format requiring critical thinking and written responses.

Complete all topics and earn 9 CPD points mapped to the FASEA category, Professionalism and Ethics.

Our solution meets FASEA’s definition of qualifying CPD, as outlined in  FPS004 Continuing Professional Development Policy.
